FELIXIS

FELIXIS was formed some years back by Felix, the guitarist of Innocent Eyes, a once extremely popular band from Shillong. He is also an active solo artist. Primarily, FELIXIS consists of Felix – Guitars/Vocals/Keyboards, Arwell/Khlain -Bass, George - Bass/Guitar & Charles/Raymond – Drums.

Other members are, not to forget, some of Felix's students very own students - be it on bass, drums, keyboard, guitar, vocals...

Felix, individually, has also performed abroad in places like Singapore, USA..... He is also in an international band comprising of Kenny Hogan, a leading drummer in SE Asia from Singapore on the drums, a bassist from Canada/Singapore and Felix on the guitar. Felix with this band, had also done performances in Singapore and most probably would be doing shows in India too. In 2003, Felix had also been recognized & assisted by Fender, USA to be part of the Boston Guitar Sessions in Boston, USA, featuring guitarists from around the world. Felix is also the instructor & proprietor of Andante Institute of Contemporary Music (AICM), erstwhile Andante Music School, which was started in November 2000. Other performances include the National Youth Festival ’95…………etc…..

Felix had also performed in Los Angeles, USA, at the International Pop Overthrow along with other US & international bands/artists.

Another important member who performs with FELIXIS on selected shows only is Felix’s elder brother John (now based in Mumbai), on the keyboards. John brings an enormous experience and expertise into the band. He had been the keyboardist of the once extremely very popular band “THE BLOOD & THUNDER”. One of his short snappy songs was also aired in a TV program by BBC. Also assisting on keyboards at times is Vineata.

FELIXIS's style of music includes rock, metal, classic rock, progressive rock, jazz rock, fusion, neo classical rock, blues....etc...anything !!! so long as it's good music !! 

FELIXIS performs regularly both within and outside the state at shows/concerts, clubs, hotel, festivals, college festivals, Great Indian Rock Project 7, Nokia Pub Rock Fest…etc...Regarding local shows, FELIXIS performs at countless gigs both big and small.
