Welcome to Andante ! Please take your time to explore this website ! Andante was started in November 2000 as "Andante Music School" by musician Felix Langstieh. For a considerable length of time, it was referred to as Andante Music School, but now, it has been named ANDANTE INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC (AICM). Right from it's inception, Andante has been imparting music education to a varied and diverse section of pupils in contemporary music - rock, pop, gospel....etc.... So far, over 2000+ have attended Andante and the number is ever increasing ! The instruments presently taught are guitar, bass, keyboards and drums and are instructed by multi-instrumentalist - Felix Langstieh. Andante has a limited intake of students but plans are on to expand the institute not only in the amount of student intake, but also in other allied areas of music. As part of the curriculum, Andante also has a performance class once a month whereby students "have to perform " in a formal setting - a 'mini concert' we can say ! In addition, recording projects are also initiated. There's no doubt about it, such performances and recordings are an 'invaluable opportunity' to one and all !
